Austin, Tx. - April 1, 2008 - The sports poems themselves are often written as experienced, first person, up close, with a direct physical sense of action. Occasionally, a strong stream of consciousness is expressed. Though most of Adan’s sports poetry is participatory based, he also includes humorous spectator takes, such as “Sports Fan & Wife.”
"Probably one of the better descriptions, I like, of why sports poetry appeals," says Adan, "is in an essay by David Allan Evans called 'Poetry and Sport.' He's the Poet Laureate of South Dakota:"

Each of Adan's poems includes an artist commentary, on the same page, often with personal relevant information about each work.
Weekly, both new and older work are posted online, encouraging the interested reader to return again.
Personalization of each poem on parchment tone paper, matted with a non-acidic backing is available. Plus a non-commercial free-use option is also offered.
Adan’s next projected news release will feature an overview of his various arts reviews in music, movies, and art.
