Love Poetry - Original Love Poems
by Adan Lerma
Press Release - March 18, 2008
|
WEBWIRE - Austin, Tx. - March 18, 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Though Valentine’s Day is past this year, love is always in vogue,” smiles Adan.
Indeed, though Adan’s collection of poems, dating to the early 90’s, has just newly begun being posted each week on his website, the range of love-related emotions expressed is already nicely varied.
Austin, Tx. - March 18, 2008 - “Heart Beats,” “Feels Like I’ve Known You Forever,” “(It’s Strange) Missing You,” and “My Hungry Heart” are just some of the available titles. New postings are scheduled each week: www.adanlerma.com/blog/2379#love
Personalization on parchment tone paper, and even a non-commercial free use option, are available. Licensing and syndication are also offered.
Adan’s artist commentary, standard on each online painting and press release page, is also included on each individual poem’s page. Adan says, “On my older work, it helps bridge the meaning from then to now. For both my newer or older work, I may talk a little about the form, or connections to other poems,” pausing, he adds, “and sometimes, it just helps my connection to me.”
His next news release will feature his impressionist paintings of New York’s Central Park: www.adanlerma.com/blog/2379#newyork

march 18 '08
well, this second pr release wasn't as fraught w/the trauma of the unknown as my first :-)
i was able to pin point one aspect of my work, the love poems, and that made having a focus in the news release a little easier
actually, it was kinda fun to be able to concentrate on just one aspect and give it a little attention; hopefully the future releases will seem to go as well, and hopefully, this one will have as nice (if not better) reception as the first (though, since i don't have any past experience to go by, that may or may not be a challenge :-)
it'll be interesting to see how these play out against each other; it's almost like a newsletter mailing in a more specific format; i like it
in re to the love poems themselves, they're one of my favorites to do
the variety and breadth and depth available in the range of feelings and images i discover and find i can associate with the concept, the reality, of love, seems, if not limitless, then beyond any horizon i see yet
from short moment poems, to winding talky tones, through meandering memories, and images joined to feelings, i freely admit, i enjoy the wanderings :-)
it's probably also why i enjoyed and wrote the various reviews i've done, such as brett dennen's concert, or the before sunset and sunrise movies, or what i sensed and tried to portray in the couple on the bench in one of my central park paintings
" Is better to have hungered
then starved without love."
thanks ya'll,
adan
ps - the next poetry release should focus on my sports poetry; while the next actual projected release will focus on my new york central park paintings
